Manga bringing The Genghis & The Gore!

Manga Entertainments “Live Action” Action Label is increasing over the next month with DVD and Blu-Ray releases of Tokyo Gore School and By The Will of Genghis Khan this August. Tokyo Gore School is up for release first on 16th August on DVD only at this time. One week later (23rd August) we will be given DVDs and Blu-Rays of By The Will of Genghis Khan. 26 July sees the DVD release of this low budget “time-travelling romp” starring famous Japanese porn stars. Suprisingly, no Blu-Ray release. Manga Entertainment are taking the bullet by releasing this title from the team that brought you; Chanbara Beauty!

At this time the Rated 18 flick has no special features announced at this time.

“Sons Of The Wind” set to thrill this Month!

Get your running shoes on, director Julien Seri and the members of theYamakasi return to the screen with Sons Of The Wind: Bangkok Ninjas, this time shifting the relentless action from the Paris suburbs to the rooftops of London and Bangkok. Produced by the team behind District 13.

Manga Entertainment set to release Sons Of The Wind: Bangkok Ninjas on July 26th and it looks pretty good, have a gander at the plot;

When a group of French free-runners decide to move from Europe to Bangkok to set up a training school and gym in the Thai capital, they get more than they bargained for when they encounter a gang of Thai athletes and martial artists who have chosen to betray their heritage by pledging allegiance to a powerful Japanese Triad leader intent on gaining control of the city’s underworld.

Kamui: The Lone Ninja set for an August release

Manga Entertainment have wrangled the rights and now releasing “Kamui: The Lone Ninja” on DVD and Blu-Ray this August.

Based on the famous Manga series written by Sanpei Shirato, “All Under the Moon” director Yoichi Sai. The movie is lined up with the cream of the crop in Japanese Cinemas next generation of big actors; Death Notes; Ken’ichi Matsuyama, Sukiyaki Western Django’s Koichi Sat as well as Ekin Cheng. Yes you read that right, Hong Kongs own; Ekin Cheng makes an appearance in this movie, I don’t know yet how long an appearance the main man has but hey, my opinion of this movie has improved 100% already.

Kamui: The Lone Ninja is set for a UK release on August 9th on – £19.99 on Bluray and £15.99 on DVD.
