Set during the Ming Dynasty, the Emperor creates a secure group of bodyguards called the “Jinyiwei”, the group is led by Qinglong (Donnie Yen) bestowed upon him is the deadly 14 Blades, 8 of the blades are used for interrogation and the remaining 4 are used for execution.

When the Imperial Court is seized by the evil eunuch Jia, Qinglong is assigned to steal a list identifying those still loyal to the Emperor. But unknown to him, the Jinyiwei themselves have double crossed Qinglong for Jia, who, in league with an exiled noble, Prince Qing (Sammo Hung), is plotting to rebel against the Emperor and seize power.

During his mission to obtain the list, Qinglong is betrayed by his own men and barely escapes with his life. Now, a wanted man, he must seek out and rally the loyalists to rise against Jia and restore the Emperor to power. But standing before him are the deadliest assassins in the land – his former brothers-in-arms, the Jinyiwei. Read More

Plot: Detective Chan (Simon Yam) is forced into a early retirement when he diagnosed with a  brain tumor. This was discovered when he was involved in an car  crash when transporting valuable witnesses to court. Our antagonist, notorious gang leader Wong Po (Sammo Hung) is released from prison when his witnesses died in the crash.

Detective Chan tries his best in the next following years to put the wicked crime lord behind bars, but can’t quite cut it. On his last days of the job he is introduced to his replacement, Officer Ma (Donnie Yen) a young fierce cop with a bad ‘ass reputation. Read More

Cine-Asia prepare for their next big DVD Release this month. Already playing in selected cinemas across the United Kingdom, Ip Man (Winner of Best Picture & Best Action Choreography at the 2009 HKFAs) starring Donnie Yen (fan favorite!), Simon Yam (Election & The Sparrow) and Fan Siu-Wong (Righting Wrongs & The Story of Ricky) and directed by Wilson Yip (Dragon Tiger Gate and Bullets over Summer) will most likely be CA’s most popular DVD Release this year.

Being released on two disc DVD (RRP of £15.99) and single disc Blu-Ray (RRP of £19.99) on 26th October.
