High paced crime thriller that turns into a martial arts roller coaster from start to finish. Full star cast too; Yuen Biao, Cynthia Rothrock, Melvin Wong, Fan Siu-Wong, Corey Yuen Kwai, Tai Bo, Fung Lee, Wu Ma and Chung Fat!

Yuen Biao plays Jason Chan, a lawyer who witnessed his colleagues assassination, catches the bad guys and attempts to put behind bars, although another man who witnessed the murder was assassinated the night before the trial. Jason looses the case by lack of evidence and decides to retire from the firm.

Jason takes things into his own hands and decides to kill off the gang leaders who staged the murder (one of them played by James Tien). Jason successfully kills off ‘four eyed bill’ and beings planning for the next boss (Tien).

Although the head of the gang takes out his partner Chow Ting-Kwong (Tien) before he could back out of the deal, although after the head leaves, Jason comes to kill Chow but finds out he’s dead…when Jason leaves but bumps into The Lady Dragon (Cynthia Rothrock) a hard as nails cop who has being tailed Jason since his first kill. Although after a small spare Jason escapes the scene of the crime.

Although this murder was witnessed by Yu Chi-Wen (Fan Siu-Wong), who was hiding under a table in the department. He plans to have the leader of the gang put behind bars and have Jasons name cleared…but will he live for that long?

There is also Joe Do (Corey Yuen Kwai) a lazy cop who is teamed up with the Dragon Lady. His father Mr. Do (Wu Ma) is also a cop who refuses to retire because he has nothing else left in his life apart from his son and his job. Read the rest of this entry »

Plot: A small family of vampires are unleashed in Hong Kong after a group antique dealers discover their corpses. Dealer Kwok (Chung Fat) attempts to sell the corpses off to other antique dealers, but his stupid assistant, Chicken (Billy Lau) accidentally awakens the vampires causing all sort of havoc!

Coroner Lin (Lam Ching-Ying) and his son-in-law Gen (Yuen Biao) set out to apprehend this vampires before they claim any victims. Lin first finds out about the vampires after Chicken appears Lin’s chemist looking for a remedy to a vicious bite wound. Lin can tell it is a vampire bite as soon as he see’s it, although Chicken just claims he was biting by a child.

One of the Vampires is a young boy, who escapes after Kwok was traveling to an antique dealer. The young vampire stumbles across a small family. A father (Wu Fong) and his two children.

The children mistake the vampire for an illegal immigrant and decide to shelter and feed it. Finding out that the young vampire is completely harmless.

If things cant get anymore crazy Chicken finds out that his only cure is to get a sample of the vampires blood. Kwok’s other assistant (Fung Lee) is also after the vampire blood after Chicken loosing his temper and biting into him too! Read the rest of this entry »

One of the most well casted films I’ve seen to date!

Sammo Hung plays a petty thief who returned to his home town, Hanshui. Sammo returns with a group of prostitutes including Olivia Cheng, Rosamund Kwan, Emily Chu & Wong Yuk Waan. Sammo comes up with the idea to de-rail a train filled with Multi-Millionaires travelling to Shanghai.

His reasons be that his home town seems run down, nothing new, nothing to attract people. So stopping this train will flood the town with many rich people and hoping it picks up the towns business…

Yet on the train their is a group of Japanese led by Hwang Jang Lee, Yasuaki Kurata & Yukari Oshima. They are carrying a very valuable map which leads to the location of a very valuable Jade Buddha. Now a group of Bandits led by James Tien along with Corey Yuen Kwai, Dick Wei, Chung Fat, Cynthia Rothrock, Richard Norton and a whole bunch of lackys.

Another Storyline is the Police Force, led by Eric Tsang, Lam Ching-Ying, Yuen Wah, Wu Ma, Mang Hoi & Chow Gam Kong. The town off Hanshui is so quiet, there isn’t any crimes. Yet the police force were so bored they decided to set fire to the one of the buildings, this is used as a distraction the police force rob the towns bank. Most of the group escape, yet both Wu Ma & Mang Hoi are caught by the Firemen, led by Yuen Biao, Hsiao Ho, Chin Kar-Lok, Peter Chan & Siu Tak Foo.

The Police Force plan that their only method of escape is hitching a ride on the Shanghai Express. Now the town without a police force is useless. So the mayor decides to make the Fire Brigade the new Police Force. Biao decides that the first plan of action is to foil Sammos plan on derailing the train and then arrest the fleeing bank robbers.

Richard Ng and Lynda Shum join the list A cast as a rich couple boarding the train although Richard Ng has a secret mistress which leads him into some sticky situations.

Now the action, you know its Sammo Hung Action, its got to be good don’t you think? Well it is. We get to see a great fight between Sammo vs. Yuen Biao, Sammo vs. Cynthia Rothrock and Yuen Biao versing Dick Wei in a very fast paced fight to the end.

Yuen Biao also does a excellent stunt, doing a cartwheel off a two story building and landing on the ground and then delivering a line of dialogue. Hsiao Ho also takes quite a jump, Sammo tricks Ho into following him to the roof of a hotel. Sammo confronts Ho and Ho decides to exit by jumping off the building. from the roof to a balcony and from the balcony to the dirt!!

The Millionaires Express is a great action comedy which I highly recommend to all.

Plot: Wah (Yuen Biao) in his prime was a boxing champion, seven years later all he thinks about now is returning to the ring and regaining his championship belt. Wah isn’t as fit as he used to be, he’s gotten himself into some nasty habits, smoking, drinking, gambling and he’s run up a serious amount of debt. Wah is now a single father with a seven year old son, he loves his son – Henry Henry’s mother Susan (Gloria Yip) left Wah and Henry to focus on her career and she married to a rich doctor and lives in a pretty swanky mansion.

Wah now spends his days working in a local car repair garage with his buddy Wayne (Chin Kar-Lok). Although his mind still wonders to the Boxing Ring, when things start to get tough with Debt Collectors and Susan returning to the scene, could Wah really make back onto the Boxing career he once had? Personal Thought: It’s the future. People are on Hover boards, Mobile Phones are at your finger tips, no really they are! This film is filled with wire work and CGI effects which is some times on the good side and the bad. Yet if you aren’t a fan of the CGI and wire work maybe the cast will interest you; Alex Wang (Chinese Strike force), Stephen Fung (Gen-X-Cops), Chin Kar-Lok (Operation Scorpio), Gigi Leung (First Option) And Kristy Yeung (Storm Riders). Apart from the young there is two classic actors included Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao!

Now lets get this party Started Nova (played by Alex Wang) is an hyped up teen spending his days street fighting in and outside of tournaments raising money for the one thing. The Power Glove. His Father ‘Thunder’ (played by Yuen Biao) supposedly killed a couple year back has left a hologram of him demonstrating the deadly art of Power Fist. Although his mother (played by Cecilia Yip) is against him using The Power Fist technique and is very against him getting a Power Glove. The Power Glove is known unlock the full use of the human brain, fact is that we only use 10% brain power. The Gloves were only issued to certain police officers, one of those officers was Thunder the others where ‘Dark’ (played by Sammo Hung) and Combat 21 (played by Roy Cheung) who turns out to be the main protagonist of the film. Plot: Dragon (played by Jackie Chan) and his fellow coastguards get told that they no longer coast guards and that their now going to be police officers. Why Are the becoming police officers? Well just as the coast guards were going of to their mission san Po’s (played by Dick Wei) main man cho kou and his men blow up the remaining ships the Admiral had. A meeting then was taking place after that with the Admiral (played by Lau Hak Sen.) and the carnal the admiral tried his best to persuade the carnal that his new project ‘Project A’ would be more successful but the carnal wasn’t going to listen. He had all ready made up his mind that the coast guards are now police. Tai Po (played by Tai Po himself) and some of the men listened to the conversation through the chimney he then told Dragon, Dragon couldn’t do anything thing about it except do what they were told.
