After much thought and careful consideration:

The Kettle Monster! (Alternative names: Ken The Kettle, Kettley Joe, The Magnificent Kettle.)



All good monsters need a backstory:

While experimenting on an unidentified element in his kitchen, Professor Q decided to make himself a cup of tea. But instead of pouring the boiling water into an empty cup, he poured it into the cup containing a sample of the element! Q was severely disfigured in the resulting explosion, and could only live long enough to see a giant shadowy figure rising from the dust before him.

The mutant kettle's handle has morphed into a tail, with which it throws boiling cups of tea at people, it's nose shoots steam into the air, and it has legs for some reason. While few people survive an encounter with it, there are those who say it is in fact a lizard, and has (lime)scales for skin. We may never know the truth, but this beast certainly deserves its title of KING OF WHITE GOODS.

OK professor, it's all well and and good conducting all these experiments in the lab. but have you even considered all the leftover shite that goes on the floor and collects around the legs of your workbench?

Well I've got news for you.
All the residue from past experiments, successful and failed, hasn't gone away and has in fact combined in ways you could never have predicted.
Now the latest in cyclone based vacuum powered sucky monsters has arrived to suck your shit up. And it ain't gonna be messy. Raah!

Like the above only in a much simpler, old fashioned and wetter form. Grr.

Following the rule of emperor Upshe Daisy, the streets of Marushal had long since been swept free of crime by the militia. However one public nuisance still lurked on the streets: vermin! Rats and stray cats and dogs.

Enter professor Hiro Hatsushiba, he created the ultimate animal killer... BLENDETHRA a machine made from a lawnmower, a vacuum cleaner (with extra hoses) and a blender. Blendethra was a success, the streets were becoming free of small animals which normally tipped rubbish bins over and shat everywhere; suddenly the poor things were running for their lives, before being blended to a bloody pulp.

Unfortunately, one day Hiro's precious pet parakeet was tragically killed by Blendethra when the professor was out receiving an award for services to the community. The killing machine was shut down for good, or so the professor thought. For you see the professor had made a grave mistake by using a laptop computer as a basis for the machine's artificial intelligence, ...it still had battery power and the means to charge itself. One day the professor noticed that Blendethra had vanished. Suspecting theft, Professor Hiro called the authorities but the machine was never found.

If you have a pet or perhaps a small child, you might want to keep them in sight. There are those who believe Blendethra is still out there...
